Overview
The Maven Ultimate is SRAM’s top-tier hydraulic mountain bike brake designed for enduro, downhill, all-mountain and E-MTB use. It features a four-piston caliper with large 18 mm and 19.5 mm pistons for very high braking power and heat management, paired with SwingLink™ lever technology to balance power with modulation. The brake uses mineral oil for reduced maintenance, and includes Toolless reach and contact point adjustments for rider customization. Its polished lever body and titanium hardware combine performance with premium aesthetics. Independent reviews note it delivers class-leading power and solid feel, though proper bleeding and setup are important for peak performance.
