Overview
The Fox DHX2 Factory is a high-performance coil-sprung rear shock designed for aggressive mountain biking, specifically for Downhill (DH) and Enduro racing. DHX2 now utilizes a monotube design to further increase durability, all while preserving its unparalleled 4-way adjustability. More traction. More support. More control. A coil spring paired with ultra low friction internals allows incredible small bump sensitivity, smoothing washboard trail sections with ease.
Features
New for 2026 - completely redesigned platform maintaining World Cup winning performance in more durable package.
Coil spring paired with ultra low friction internals provides incredible small bump sensitivity smoothing washboard sections.
Larger ½" diameter damper shaft increases both strength and durability while pressure balanced architecture increases range.
4-way adjustability with independent high-speed and low-speed compression and rebound tuning for limitless setup options.
Suppleness at speed - coil spring delivers unmatched traction and ground-hugging performance that air can't match.
Monotube design further increases durability while preserving legendary DHX2 4-way adjustability.
Factory Series with premium chrome finish provides class-leading durability and performance.
Available in both metric standard and trunnion mount configurations for broad frame compatibility.
Coil spring not included - use FOX spring calculator to determine proper spring rate for rider weight and bike setup.
Compatible with FOX SLS (Super Light Steel) springs (usually orange, though black is available) which is lighter than standard steel springs, rivaling the weight of titanium at a lower cost.
